Workshop On Entrepreneurship through Physics

27, Feb 2026

The workshop aimed to create awareness among students about the potential of physics-based innovations in entrepreneurship and startups. The program focused on bridging the gap between
academic knowledge and real-world applications, encouraging students to transform scientific ideas into viable technological products.

The keynote speakers included Dr. Kaushik Choudhary (CEO, AIC-IPR Plasmatech Innovation Foundation – Incubation Centre), Mr. Tejas Parekh of Institute for Plasma Research and Mr.
Prahalad Chaudhary (M. N. College, Visnagar). Dr. Kaushik Choudhary delivered an engaging session on the startup ecosystem in science and technology. He explained how physics-based innovations can be developed into scalable startups through incubation support, intellectual property protection, and industry collaboration. He also discussed the role of incubation centers in mentoring young innovators and guiding them through the process of product development, prototyping, and commercialization.

Mr. Prahalad Chaudhary shared insights into the practical aspects of entrepreneurship, motivating students to identify real-world problems and apply scientific principles to develop innovative
solutions. He emphasized the importance of creativity, persistence, and interdisciplinary collaboration in building successful technology ventures.

The workshop included interactive discussions where students explored ideas for physics-based innovations and learned about pathways for startup development, funding opportunities, and
incubation support available for young entrepreneurs.
