The event was organized with the objectives to increase awareness among students and faculty about beneficial and harmful roles of microbes, to promote interest in microbiology as a discipline and career, to connect with a broader scientific community and to provide hands-on experiences, creative science communication, interactive learning for students.

The students passionately participated in the various competitions like Microbiologist’s biography writing, Sci-toon making and Microbiological reel making as per their area of interest. The competitions were judged by Dr A. A. Baakza, Dr D. H. Joshi, Dr S. P. Pithva, Dr H. P. Prajapati, Dr D. N. Adhyaru and Dr R. M. Patel. Finally the event ended with the feedback from the participants, announcements of result and distribution of certificates. As a token of gratitude the judges were given the appreciation letter.
