Gandhinagar, the political hub of Gujarat where education is always a promise- to evolve and poignancy – to develop has Government Science College affiliated to Gujarat University conducted by the Government. It was established in 1970 with the objective of imparting quality to the students. The college is offering three years degree courses of B.Sc. The campus is having a pollution free climate with fully equipped free Wi-Fi facility. The only Government institute located in the capital of Gujarat offering undergraduate degree courses in various discipline of science. To its credit, this college was awarded as excellence in Saptadhara, Academic & administrative audit by Commissioner of Higher education, Government of Gujarat and Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat during 2014, The campus have a well-developed beautiful Botanical garden, well equipped laboratories, library and a well Wi-Fi which helps the students to keep themselves updating their knowledge.
This college has two storied old building and new building having a total built up area of 49.19 acres. It has spacious, well ventilated classrooms, offices, staff room. The college Boasts of an advanced computer lab with the latest equipments. The lab is on a LAN along with all the other computers in the college. Internet access is another facility that the college freely provides to its students.
